I keep not seeing these til Saturday so not doing them, but today I saw it in time!
1. Have you seen a solar eclipse? Total, Partial, Annular? When and where?
I never had, not even a partial, but that's not true anymore! I saw the solar eclipse on Monday, totality. :D It was amazing.
2. Have you seen a lunar eclipse? Full? Partial? When and where?
I think I have???? at least seen a partial. But I can't remember.
3. Have you seen a comet? Which one? When and where?
Nope, only in photographs. I feel like I should have made more effort to see Hale-Bopp but I was living in New York City and it just wasn't possible. I'm definitely hoping to see one sometime.
4. Have you seen a nova or supernova? When and where?
Nope.
5. Have you seen a meteor shower? Which one, when and where?
Multiple times! The most memorable was seeing one of the summer meteor showers from my grandfather's house in New Hampshire. This was in the mid 1990s. There was very little light pollution, and he had a roof we could stand on, and we just hung out and watched dozens of meteors raining down above the treeline. There were even a couple fireballs!! It was awesome.
