1. What have you read this week?

So my dad had a mild stroke last Thursday and I spent 8ish hours hanging out in the hospital on Friday so I had a lot of reading time then. But then I vended all weekend so I had very little then. Taking all that into account...

• How to Survive as a Villain by Yi Yi Yi Yi: done and dusted! I liked the extras a lot.
• The Disabled Tyrant's Beloved Pet Fish vol. 1 by Xue Shan Fei Hu: well this was absolutely delightful and I d.e.v.o.u.r.e.d. it.

• Blue Flag vol. 6
• Haikyu vol. 8

Nothing really to say about any of those that I haven't already said about past volumes.

2. What are you currently reading?

My only current read, now that I've finished that other stuff, is Legend of the Condor Heroes by Jin Yong. I read chapter 7 and I didn't like it quite as much? Idk, some of the interactions about "the wide world" versus "the naive mc" were giving me second-hand embarrassment but I looked up a couple spoilers vis-a-vis the "boy" that Guo Jing met and that helped.

3. What are you reading next?

I desperately need to do some reading for work, but I'm so stressed and tired because of my dad (he's fine, but still in the hospital, so we're taking turns being with him so he's not alone there) and vending work that I've been struggling to muster the energy. With that in mind, my next up is probably Guardian volume 3 by priest, which I picked up yesterday, and The Husky and His White Cat Shizun vol 6 by Meatbun Doesn't Eat Meat, which came out yesterday. My next library graphic novel is Welcome Back, Alice by Shuzo Oshimi.
