The third and finally book of the Twinned trilogy by Tris Lawrence is Into the Split, showing us a very different world than the one that the Pine Hills University students are used to. In this world, Nikolai – a young queer man with Dream powers – and his boyfriend/life partner/lover Seth – an Empath – are on the run from the Shadows, and it takes a magical mishap that threatens multiple worlds to bring them and the PHU crew into contact. However, from that risk is also opportunity: by combining their knowledge, skill, and Talent, they may just have what it takes to save everyone!
