1. What are you currently reading?

I've just started the last (fourth) volume of Rose and Renaissance by Zhi Chu. It's all extras, and most are smutty, so that's fun lmao.

I was also in the mood to sink my teeth into something manga-ish and multi-volume so I'm reading 10 Dance, loaned to me by tryslora. I'm on vol. 3 now.

2. What have you recently finished reading?

  • Rose and Renaissance vol. 3 by Zhi Chu, main story is done now and it's just extras, many of which are quite sexy, so that's fun lmao.
  • My Hero Academia vol. 21 by Kohei Horikoshi
  • Dinghai Fusheng Records manhua vol. 1 by Fei Tian Ye Xiang. This is a reread for me I'm just so excited the official English manhua is coming out now (I read the manhua on Bilibili and the fantranslation of the book...).
  • First Test vol. 1 graphic novel by Tamora Pierce: grabbed this when I saw it at the library cause people bring it up so often on our rec lists, and yeah, I see why it was formative for so many of my fellows in the same way Dealing with Dragons by Patricia C. Wrede was formative for me. I'd read more, it's cute. I bet my kids would like it.
  • Stars in Their Eyes by Jessica Walton and Aśka (modern, f/nb, strong disability rep): cute story of a girl finding her first crush at a geek con. The "fall in love in a day" aspect wasn't for me at all but I really appreciated the disability and nb rep (mc is an amputee with chronic pain).
  • 10 Dance vol. 2 by Inouesatoh: finally getting back to this BL after reading vol. 1 months ago, borrowed the rest for tryslora. I'm in the mood for something quick so I suspect I'm gonna plow through all the remaining volumes, since I've got them all and should return them to Tris sometime lol.

3. What will you be reading next?

I actually finished all my library books (...and then took out three more yesterday afternoon, but I've got a month on those) so I'm kinda caught up. When I finish Rose and Renaissance, next novel will (once again) by Delta of Venus by Anais Nin. I'm really gonna try to get through it this time, lol. Next graphic novels are the remaining 4 volumes of 10 Dance, and I've also got three Libby borrowed graphic novels due in less than a week so. those, lol. (Demon Slayer vol. 1, Haikyuu vol. 14, and I Think Our Son is Gay vol. 1).
