Duck Prints Press’s monthly “created works round-ups” are our opportunity to spotlight some of the amazing work that people working with us have done that ISN’T linked to their work with Duck Prints Press. We include fanworks, outside publications, and anything else that creators feel like sharing with y’all. Inclusion is voluntary and includes anything that they decided “hey, I want to put this on the created work’s round-up!”

As he ascends once more, he must contend with former vassals, the changes in himself, and a young man who claims to be made of wood, and certainly not tarnished silver like the ghost groom Xie Lian met on the mountain.
In a world where people’s bodies are lanterns, whether stone, cloth, or paper, being transparent with each other changes everything for HuaLian.

summary: Mosaic Haiku is my art-and-poetry project celebrating the lifetime of love shared by Eliot and Quentin at the Mosaic during the Quest for the Seven Keys. For the Welcome Home! fanworks challenge event hosted by Magicians Fanworks Extravaganza (https://www.tumblr.com/magiciansfanworksextravaganza/773800993836138496/welcome-home?source=share), Mosaic Haiku added Chapter 16 (haiku with scenes), as well as 3 watercolor paintings and 4 drawings, during Week 1 (most for the Week 1 theme, “Home”; one drawing for the overall event theme, “Welcome Home”). Eliot and Quentin can’t get away from their royal responsibilities that easily.

Oh, and Eliot is a swordsman, and Quentin is ripped from building an extension on the cottage.
Teddy is grown and off on a quest of his own, and all Quentin and Eliot want to do is have a nice quiet life as retired kings solving a puzzle and drinking tea in their own cottage using the nice china, with the newest High Queen of Fillory.
Is that too much to ask?
Apparently, it is, because Whitespire keeps knocking on their door.
